These decorative wearable miniature books are illuminated, bound, and decorated using leather or cloth for covering materials. The leather BookPins are decorated with Gold tooling and leather onlays. Inlaid cloth and gold tooling embellish the cloth BookPins. These tiny ornamental books have a small pinback secured onto the back board, and a foredge clasp keeps them closed. When opened, you see colorful hand marbled endsheets, and a handmade, hand sewn text. Each book’s central page-opening displays an individually gilt and decorated illumination, each one unique. (One variety contains, instead of gilt decoration, matted pockets in which small photographs may be displayed.)
