My interest in the wider book arts grew out of my longtime fascination with beautiful hand-produced manuscripts: a tradition handed down in our long collective history of illuminated manuscript books. For many years I have worked to develop the techniques and tools of the manuscript masters of old. As a calligrapher and illuminator, I am at your service to produce calligraphic pieces for framing, or to be bound into presentation bindings.

I specialize in the use of gold in manuscript work, and work with quill pens and other standard and traditional Illuminator's media.

I welcome consultations in order to distinctively commemorate your chosen quotation or special presentation in a calligraphic, decorated form. I have produced many such pieces for a wide variety of patrons.
